GMC Sierra 2007 - 2013 HID Kits & LED Conversions

These Sierras use a H11 lowbeam bulb, 9005 highbeam bulb and a 5202 foglight bulb. Lowbeams and foglights are plug and play with all kits, highbeams are plug and play only with LED unless DRL is disabled prior to installation. 

55W HID's are brightest option on these trucks, but can have cold-start issues below -30C. If you live in northern Canada, talk to us about a 35w kit. For most Canadians, a 55w kit in 4300K is the optimal choice for the lowbeams.  LED's also have excellent performance on all housings on this model truck, delivering nearly as much lighting performance as a 55w HID kit at a lower price point, and a longer replacement interval. For city driving, a lowbeam conversion is generally sufficient.

Highbeams work plug and play only with an  LED, due to the truck's Daytime Running Light system. LEDs are not only DRL compatible, but offer instant-on performance, and do not experience additional wear from frequent power cycling. LED's come only in 6000K, if you are matching HID lows to LED highs, consider a higher kelvin rating for your HID's, or doing LED's all around.  Foglights work equally well with HID and LED kits. We recommend a 35w foglight kit, as unlike the headlights, the housings are too  small to dissipate the heat from the brighter kit. Foglight upgrades are particularly useful for illuminating ditches, treelines and wildlife.
