D3S is the factory HID bulb used in most 2010+ Audi, Volkswagen, Ford, Volvo and Land Rover and many other brand headlights. When colour shifts pink or one side dims, replacing the bulb pair restores OEM brightness without touching the ballast or projector. Our D3S bulbs are 35W OEM-spec, sold as a colour-matched pair so both headlights look identical at night. D3S and D1S look almost identical but use different bases and are not cross-compatible — double-check the marking on your old bulb before ordering, or see our factory HID bulb guide. Want a drop in D3S product that's brighter than a new OEM bulb? Installing an LED recommended as this sacrifices beam pattern, but if you've determined it is right for you, we have the best and brightest thing that can be installed into a factory D3S HID housing without modification. This LED system makes nearly 1000 Lumens more than a new D3S 4300K bulb and works without modification on all vehicles, even if your ballast is too weak to keep an HID bulb lit.
