This page lists all of AbsoluteHID Canada's conversions for the 2014 and 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500. These trucks use a single 9012 55w halogen bulb in a projector for combined high and lowbeam, and 5202 foglights. Click here for other years and trims of Sierra's, or Contact Us for more assistance.
This generation Sierra is particularly suitable for an upgrade, as the headlights have excellent optics, and are betrayed by their very dim halogen bulbs. The headlights on this model have a very clever shutter system that changes the beam pattern from low to high using a single bulb, meaning a single kit upgrades both the lows and highs, plug and play.
Since this model Sierra has projector lenses, HID's are strongly recommended, as LED beam pattern in projectors is poor. Projectors require omnidirectional light sources in order to get the best possible beam pattern. 55W HID's are brightest but can have cold-start issues below -30C. If you live in northern Canada, stick to a 35w HID kit.
LED's come only in 6000K, and are suitable for the foglights, however most of our customers who do choose to upgrade the foglights in addition to the headlights select a 35w HID for this housing (55w HID's are too hot for the foglight housings. Headlight 9012 bulbs are 55w from factory.)
