All three headlight housings are upgradeable plug and play on this model F150. All three housings are compatible with 35w and 55w HID's, and LED's. 55W HID's are brightest but can have cold-start issues below -30C. If you live in northern Canada, talk to us about a 35w kit or an LED system.
Highbeams work plug and play with both HID and LED kits, but LED's offer instant-on performance, and do better with frequent power cycling. LED's come only in 6000K, if you are matching a lowbeam and/or foglight HID kit to LED highs, consider a higher kelvin rating for your HID's, or doing LED's top and bottom.
If you live in the city, a lowbeam conversion will likely suffice. If you do a lot of rural driving, talk to us about a highbeam or foglight kit, or a complete conversion (all housings.)
2015 and newer F-150's use H11 lowbeam bulbs, 9005 highbeam bulbs and 9140/H10 foglight bulbs. Newer F150's have H11 lows, H11 highs and 9140/H10 foglight bulbs. Please specify the correct year to ensure you get the appropriate kit(s) for your vehicle.
