H11 HID Connector Installation Guide

Installing an H11 HID Kit or changing H11 Replacement HID Kit bulbs?

Halogen bulbs do not have polarity, ground and positive can be attached on either wire. HID ballasts will not fire unless polarity is correct. If you are replacing an existing  HID bulb, skip the first two steps. Verify polarity by inserting bare wires into factory headlight bulb connector. Ground is always black on our wiring, and is normally black or brown on vehicle side.  Attach bulb to ballast, turn headlight on, and verify that blue status LED is on. If light doesn't turn on, reverse the wiring.

Identify which locking tab your factory connector uses by test fitting black moulded piece into factory connector.

Insert wires in the orientation correct order into connector, ensuring the notches of the metal connectors face outward, and the flat side of the orange grommets are facing away from the pins

Pull pins securely into place with pliers.
