AbsoluteHID Canada: A Canadian Business Through and Through
AbsoluteHID Canada operates exclusively within Canada. Our employees and our operations are all based in Canada, and every product we sell is sourced outside of the United States.Â
Discontinuing U.S. Sales & Strengthening Local Sourcing
In response to these developments, we have made the strategic decision to discontinue all sales to the United States. Our focus is now entirely on serving Canadian customers and reinforcing our supply chain within Canada. We are actively seeking out local manufacturers and service providers to further insulate our business from external disruptions.
Challenges with Shopify and Our Next Steps
We acknowledge that Shopify, the e-commerce platform we use, has policies that are not favorable toward Canada. While migrating to another platform is a complex process for a business of our size, we are exploring our options to ensure we can continue providing reliable service to our customers. In the meantime, we have already taken steps to reduce our reliance on Shopify by discontinuing its logistics services. Instead, we are now using a Canadian broker for logistics while continuing to ship with trusted carriers like Canada Post and Purolator.
Taking Action: Sales to Support Our Customers
To help ease the burden of economic uncertainty, we are committed to running sales on as many products as possible. The first wave of discounts will begin on March 4, 2025, starting with all OEM Replacement HID Bulbs and HID Kit Replacement Bulbs. We will continue to assess our pricing and apply further discounts wherever possible in the coming months.
