Infiniti HID Headlight Bulb Guide — D2S, D2R Replacement for G35, G37, Q50, FX35, QX60 & More

Infiniti HID Headlight Bulb Replacement Guide

Infiniti (Nissan's luxury division) almost exclusively uses the D2 bulb family across its HID lineup, paralleling the Nissan Xenon range. The early V35 G35 uses D2R (Nissan/Infiniti OE 26296-89904; Osram 66250, Philips 85126) because it uses a reflector-type housing. All other Infiniti factory HID applications use D2S in projector housings (Nissan/Infiniti OE 26297-89902 / 26297-89903 / 26297-9B91A; Osram 66240, Philips 85122). D2R and D2S share the same electrical system and ballast but are not safely interchangeable — the D2R has an opaque shield for reflector housings, and fitting D2S in a reflector housing produces dangerous glare for oncoming traffic. Always confirm the code on your existing capsule before ordering. Many Infiniti models in the same year were sold with halogen or full LED headlamps; this guide covers factory HID-equipped trims only.
